by Jeremy Giles I've loved Christine Baranski ever since Cybill and really wish I could still see the show so I could laugh my butt off. I have over a dozen of Christine's movies on DVD and make it a goal to buy each of her movies as it is released on DVD. She was great in Chicago recently, but I really wish she would've had a bigger part. Of course, her parts usually aren't big leading lady parts, but she always manages to make the most of her supporting roles. She always looks sexy and stylish while playing stuck up rich socialites and New York snobs and that's why I love her so much. The first movie I really loved her in was The Ref, check it out, she's rude and hysterical as usual. Comment on this...

by Dawn I also didn't notice this actress until i started watching "Cybill" reruns. While I personally think the show isn't so great (lines and plots need work), Maryann keeps me coming back to watch it more and more. Christine is hilarious and I'm sure its mainly because of her that the show was a success for so long. No offense to Cybill Shephard, she is also a fine actress but sometimes she overacts a little too much. I also enjoyed "Ira", but Christine was unmistakeably the star of that show. Rock on, Maryann!!!! P.S. I also enjoyed How The Grinch Stole Christmas and will check out other movies Christine Baranski acted in. Comment on this...

by Cathi I only recently discovered Christine Baranski when I began watching "Cybill" in reruns. While Cybill Shephard is very likeable, Christine's "MaryAnn" has me on the floor with laughter. What a terrific talent! A "must see" is her performance as she "hussles for the homeless." Not many women can be both incredibly funny and sexy at the same time. She has a body I would die for. Since "Cybill" I've seen her in "The Birdcage" and "Chicago." While she's wonderful the parts don't do her talent justice. I'm going to check out her other movies but let's hope she returns to TV in a series that showcases her extraordinary talent for comedy. Comment on this...
