| by Paul Cwynarski Did you know that Michael's dad is a Welsh Jew - quite unusual. At school he always played the female roles in plays. Comment on this... |

| by Sherrie Ritter I met Mr. York at a press party before the opening of one of the most wonderful films I have ever seen. It was Houston Texas around 1983-85. For Those I Loved was about WWII. I want to own a copy of this film to share with my family. I can only find the book. Can anyone help? Comment on this... |

| by christine B This movie is offered at the library. I've been a fan with Logan's Run, to the horp worship of shinning in my older sisters hero worship. She being 8 years my senior. When I discovered this book should have been on the popular Classic booklist for children and all to read like Harry Potter (Harris will be missed Irish of decent. This story and subject fascinated my 14 year old, as well as this other generation with Michael Yorks acting. With Australian Actors becoming more popular Michael York has and will Stand Out. The work he has done and will do I'm looking forward to in the future it will take more than the past to, as in the future I'm looking for those pictures out as well as what will be out in the futuire. As a past Californian It is special that he deals with the Theatre and the Youth they keep you and good luck.To Michael York. We'll be looking for his work. | by steve green Michael York is a rare thing these days, he retains a credibility and gravitas sadly lacking in the modern cinema! While others are appearing in uk and us soaps!! What a great body of work, look forwards to new projects! Comment on this... |

I enjoyed the film so much,,,,,,, and your persona on the screen, and your wonderful, grasp of the English language, brings a special, light,,,to your films. At school in 1974 we saw , your film,,,, Great Expectations,,,,,these films of yours brought a great delight to our child hoods... Which, whenever I get the opportunities, I buy your films on cd..... So that my children and there friends in Australia,,can enjoy the special ,,,, films,,that are so encaptulating........ Comment on this... |

| by Donald M. Fowler.C.D. Hi, Lookin' over the list of Michael York's many movie achievements, I'm wondering why one is missiing--unless I'm in error concerning Michael's role in the film-- "The Damned", with a German wartime setting. I believe I saw it on television. I would like to see that movie again. Was Michael not the "son" in that movie? I think he is one of the finest actors ever, in my nearly 80 years of occasional "viewing"./dmf Comment on this... |
