Vincent made his American film debut playing the title role in The Crow: City of Angeles. Consistently ranked as one of the sexiest men alive in France, Perez's newly established American presence helped secure his inclusion in People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in the World issue.

While still in school, Perez made his screen debut in Gardien De Nuit and co-starred with Jacqueline Bisset in Nadine Trintignant's La Maison De Jade. In 1992, he was awarded the prestigious Prix Jean Gabin and in the same year made his directing debut with the short film L'Echange.

Perez is currently gearing up to play the lead in Alfonso Arau's new movie about the legendary Mexican hero, Emiliano Zapata. In 1998, he will also be seen in the French film, Le Bossu starring opposite Daniel Auteuil. He resides in Paris and Los Angeles.
