| by Veronica Hello. I'm a huge fan of Viggo's. I'm a 16 year old girl from Norway. Viggo is the best actor ever. It's not just that he's so gorgeous, but he is also very special. I like his art and his poetry, and I love him as an actor. Viggo rules... He is not like many other celebs. He IS special. By the way, he can be nominated to Oscar for his role in his new movie "A history of Violence." I hope he wins it :D He deserve it. But I have to be 18 years old to see "A history of Violence" in the cinema here in Norway. Everytime we watch LOTR at my house (which is all the time) I'm drooling over Viggo while my mother is drooling over Orlando. | by khalled I have never considered movie actors as people different or superior to anybody else. Beeing able to act according to a prewritten script in front of a camera doesn’t seems to me a skill justifying the worship shown by media and the masses. To be a famous actor requires no brain, no courage, no particular philosophy or state of mind. Not meaning that actors have no brain, no courage or opinions... But so few have the guts to express them. Its fine to play the hero on screen, but risking ones own relation to the almighty studios and producers is another thing. Viggo Mortensen has dared to drive down to Crawford to express his support to Cindy Sheehan. He deserves praise and consideration in daring to leave the cosy confort of his stardom to have done so. Showing that there is indeed a courageous man behind the screen hero. Thanks, Viggo, you are are indeed courageous. I wonder how many other actors would dare a trip to Crawford ?
