| by damon This is from me in New York at age 53 trying to give support to a Sister whose life is in a downward spiral because as she is raising 2 children, one of whom is in college end the other an overachieving high school student, her rich ex-husband is trying to destroy her. Mrs.Sharon Tartt is an office supervisor, a member of the church, and she is even studying martial arts during her spare time(whenever she is not forced to be into court to be financially and emotionally and almost spiritually drained). I would do anything if only you would help investigate or just give her an avenue of approach...Please Oprah I am a Black man who has done some spite in my life but this situation sort of eats at my gut. | by kathy wheat dear oprah-i have no idea wethar you will ever see this or not-but god i sure hope you do.i am desparate!!!!! this is the time of year when everyone makes resolutions to do all sorts of things and i am no exception.but i am so tired of making them and never keeping them.you see-i am so over weight that i am sure it may one day-cost me my life!! i am 45 years old and so desparately in need of help,support and encouragement-and have seen so many of your shows and know that you have helped millions of people with this very problem.my mother died of a heart attack at age 47 and i don't want to follow in her footsteps!!!! she weighed more then 400 pounds by the time she was 30 and i weigh almost that myself!!! my dream is to meet the most positive and motivating person in weight loss history,and that is richard simmons!!! i know this is a big stretch to even think that such a thing could happen for me but my health is in jeopardy and my belief in myself is practically non existent. i feel so ugly,and worthless-i just can't stand myself any longer.if you are willing-will you pleasssssse help me?????? sincerely,desparate in nevada-kathy Comment on this... |

| by Kimmy Hello Oprah my name is kimberly body im 15 years old and i was wondering if u could help my family out my mom has six kids but only two of us live with her in our two bedroom apt or whatever u want to call it and she on ssi or whateva that is. so she cant send my older sister shelley off to college and we dont have any help from our family but we do have these very nice people that try to help out when they can but oprah it not nearly enouth to help my sister she is very very bright and her grades are wonderful she has a 4.0 and i really wont her to go to college and im just praying that this letter get to u so she can have a chance to become somethin so oprah if this comment or letter gets to you could you help her a little im sorry that im another person just asking for cash but i just wont one of my mom kids to go to college and thats my only prayer is to see one of us to make it and 2 hope my other sister janelle get better please please give us 1 chance and i am so so sorry oprah for asking you to help us but she really needs help befour she graduate in may of 06 ONE PRAYER Comment on this... |

| by Cleotha Bryant Hello Oprah my name is Cleotha Bryant i am a wife and a mother of 4 and 1 on the way i have been watching your show sent i was about 12 years old i cant say that i have the time to watch it everyday because i am a student at Inter Boro so i have to do my work as well as i have to take care of my family. Oprah i dont want to sound like i am begging but my family is in need of a car to get around in. I was married to my husband on September 24, 2004 but we did our wedding over again in 2005 the same day and my father told us that he was going to buy us a car sent we first got married. I know that the husband is suppose to take care of the family but right now he isn't making enough money to buy us a car or a van so that we can get around in. I have been trying my best to go to church and pay my ties but i am not able to go every Sunday because i have the kids and my church is in Mahattan and i live in Queens. Oprah Please, Please, Please help us to get a car or van we dont care what the year is we just wont to be able to get around as a family. I just asking you only i know is almost christmas i what to give them a good present problem is i dont have enought money to buy some gift a new cloth or shoe or toy . i dont know what im gonna tell to my kids im so bad . iam very broke . all my money goes to my apartment rental and bill i so really down... i hope u will help me i just try if u can if not u have a nice holiday to you thank you again ...
