We are submitting this message to you due to the nature of your films-addressing complex social issues in a pofound and caring way. our current foster care for children is a national tragedy that needs public attention. Have you considered doing a documentary folloing the life of a foster child? The suffering and atrocities these children face one would expect to see in a third world country, instead they are within driving distance of your neighborhood. We are therapists that work with these children and see it first hand. These are sweet children that are victims of a system that takes your childhood, sense of dignity and future away. If the public had an inkling of what occured daily in our community and country, there would be an outcry. We are in desperate need to save these children-they are the next generation.
