Billy Milligan's real life brother (Fri Aug 26, 2005 7:54pm ET)report post
by Cindy
...would be best for the part of their dad in The Crowded Room. He's a phenominal actor, speaker and a real stand-up guy. He's also my husband and we have lots of pictures and further info that is not part of the book but might be great research material for the movie.

"Jim " John's wife,

by Hannah
I love this movie! I have it and even my 4 year old sister likes it! I think Gerad Butler Emmy Rosssum and Patrick Wilson were all perfect, like they were born to play their parts. My cousin just went to see it on Broadway and she loved it!(and she hates musicals!) And all ya'll out there who havn't seen this movie SEE IT NOW!!! You will love it!

An invitation (Mon Jul 4, 2005 6:44pm ET)report post
by Deana
Perhaps there is a way to meet this Gerad Butler. Let's try to get him to visit Palm Beach in Florida. I promise he will love it. Maybe this invitation can get to him somehow.
Thanks,
Deana

I was extremely disappointed with the mooning incident. It did nothing for the film or story. What on earth ever possessed the makers to include it??? Did they think no one would appreciate and enjoy the music, the design, and the acting unless a low class intellect incident was added?

Bravo for the casting of Phantom (Tue Jan 4, 2005 2:03am ET)report post
by Linda
I just saw the movie for the second time in as many days. It is haunting and beautiful as was the play. I applaud the casting choices. All of those who second guessed you, Joel, were so wrong. Gerad evokes emotions in his singing voice which one can only imagine until hearing. E. Rossum's voice breaks your heart with it's purity and innocence. I have bought the soundtrack and it is set on permanent replay!!Smile

I WISH I COULD GIVE MY "LOST GIRLS" SCRIPT TO JOEL HIMSELF... (Thu Nov 6, 2003 5:58pm ET)report post
by PHOENIX, AZ FAN
I have always had a thing for movies, from George Romero to Spielberg. I have read hundreds of books, and yet the one movie that seems to ponder my mind the most is "The Lost Boys". I have always thought about the idea of it being a sequel, and what would it be like. I have off and on again, done a script of it all. I know Joel may never see it, seeing as how famous he is, but IF by some miracle that you do see this Joel, and are somewhat curious as to what I have, please get back to me. I really don't know where I can go online to send you this message directly. This is just a hope that you see it.

Nadia Bjorlin is the perfect person to play Christine -- she looks the part, has a tremendous fan base and a wonderful voice. You're crazy if you don't audition her!!!

POTO (Sun Jun 22, 2003 2:47am ET)report post
by crazygurl( a very angry phan)
How can u even consider casting someone like Gerad Butler, yes he is a great actor but he is to young, the phantom is supposed to be at least 40 not 27 he would have been like 17 when he built the opera house.Plus GB has only ever sung in a rock group the phantom is supposed to be the angel of music for heavens sake . In my opionon u need to go clear your head the only person for the role is michael crawford , so if u want anyone to see the movie i suggested u go to London and have a long talk your friend Lord TOAD (ALW)and u two change it fast before u destroy the greatest movie musical ever .
