| by Florida Pete Wow - What a talented and pretty lady -just saw her interview on Charlie Rose. Her IQ didn't vary w/ the ambient temperature either. Found out she was behind Blue Steel and Near Dark. Near Dark ranks up there w/ one of my favorite flicks - Highlander . . . The origianl movie. Keep up the good work and I'm looking fwd to checking out your past work. Pete Comment on this... |

| by jil I am trying to find a way to contact with Kathryn Bigelow to inform her that an olfd friend of hers- Peter Huchthausen (author of K-19-the Widomaker) has passed away at his home in Amfreville France on July 10 2008. He often spoke of her to me and expressed that he thought of her a friend after she worked on the movie of his book. Thank you Jil Launay www.libertyjumpteam.org Comment on this... |

| by Katie hey im just wondering if anyone could give me their thoughts on Kathryn Bigelow as a Director. My main question is how do you feel as an audience towards the female characters and in your view how are the portrayed, especially looking at her main films NEAR DARK, POINT BREAK and BLUE STEEL but on any of herfilms would be interesting. Also i am interested in Lizzie Borden as Kathryn Bigelo acted in her film BORN IN FLAMES. as of yet i haven't seen this film and was just wondering if it bears any similarity to Kathryn Bigelows work.
