| by betsy mr cosby it has taken me a little over 2 yrs to write this to you because I do not usually do this sort of thing but have decided to make some changes in my life and take the time to recognize and thank people who have made a great memory in my life. You will probably never read this but at least I have tried. Two yrs ago 2/10 we were watching you on television late sunday night. Dave laughed and laughed at this show bill cosby on himself...he had felt poorly that day but we just took it for the flu....later that evening after we went to bed he woke a number of hours later and I lost the most important person in my life he had been my mate and best friend and teacher for almost thirty years....he had been a fan of yours for many many years as a matter of fact we have a lot of your albums yes albums and used to enjoy listening to them on days when the weather was too bad to get out and we needed something to laugh about our life together was a pure joy and pleasure and honor for me to share so much with such a special person....anyway I just wanted to thank you for a night that I will never forget not for the heartbreak but for making a persons last night one of laughter and enjoyment this is very hard to write and tears still come so easily but Mr Cosby thank you very much from my heart Comment on this... |

| by Addy Lynam This movie is great! It is funnier than I expected. Especially after reading the critics review. Fat Albert is one of the cutest, funniest, best movies I’ve seen in a long time. It had a good hearted message about believing in yourself and trusting in others even if you’re scared you might get hurt. And it lets you laugh at yourself and others. It all ties together to make one good movie. The movie is about Doris, a girl who’s sad because she doesn’t have any friends and her grandpa just died. Fat Albert comes out of the television screen...along with his gang...to solve her problem. In the mean time, Fat Albert falls in love with her beautiful foster sister. He decides he wants to stay in the real world so he can be with his new girlfriend. But he can’t stay in the real world because he’s a cartoon character. He helps her overcome her fear of people breaking her heart. He also helps Doris believe in herself and be able to make friends. He reminds them both they aren’t alone-that they have friends, like him, who care about them. My favorite part is when Albert s friend asks Doris on a date...and she tells him they are already on a date. Ahhhhhhhh! Addy Lynam 12 years old Texas P.S. Dear Bill Cosby, I am one of your biggest fans. I love the Cosby Show and watch it everyday. You are a great actor and a great writer. I loved “Fat Albert”! So, don’t listen to those critics. If you have anymore movies coming out...be sure to let me know. I’ll be the first in line to see them!! Comment on this... |

| by Tanner Lynam I think Fat Albert is one of the funniest movies ever. It is funny, caring and had a great message. It teaches you that it’s not what you look like on the outside but what you look like on the inside, to believe in yourself and to trust people who care about you. I think any family will have a great time watching it and will want to buy it when it comes out on DVD. The movie is about Fat Albert helping Doris fix her problem. Her problem is she doesn’t have any friends. So, Fat Albert comes out of the TV and tries to help her fix her problem. He brings his friends to help too. They are walking down the street when they see cheer leaders! They ask them to be Doris’ friend. The cheer leaders invite Fat Albert, his gang and Doris to their party. Fat Albert gets to sing and rap at the party. Fat Albert always says, “Hey, Hey, Hey...I saved the day.” Or “Hey, Hey, Hey, gonna have a good time!” While they are at the party, Fat Albert falls in love with Doris’s foster sister. Fat Albert wants to stay in the real world. But Bill Cosby tells him he can’t or he’ll turn to dust because he’s just a cartoon character! So, Fat Albert has to go back...he tries to tell his girlfriend that he’s a cartoon character but she doesn’t believe him. He finally helps her to believe and also helps her learn how to let herself care about people and not be afraid of getting hurt. In the end, he helps Doris solve her problem, to believe in herself and make friends. My favorite part is when Fat Albert climbs up to his girlfriends 2nd story window and says “I need to talk to you.” She says, “I’ll be right down.” She slams the window on his fingers and he falls all the way down into a pile of trash bags. I also like when Fat Albert and his girlfriend go on the roller coaster. He is so scared! I’m going to tell my friends- this movie rocks! Tanner Lynam, 9 years old Texas Comment on this... |

| by P.J. Caesar Mr.Cosby, I have just finished watching Black History - Lost, Stolen or Strayed which seems to have been filmed some time ago. I wondered, in light of your recent comments, (which incidentally I fully support) how much of the video still relates to present day conditions. Is it a case of "the more things change the more they stay the same" or do you see some level of culpability on our part for not having lived up to the opportunities presented by the civil rights movement. | by Judy Mann Dear Bill, As I have written in the title, I have a very exciting and unique approach to a particular area of math that I feel all children in the world should be exposed to. I developed it and it is in very high demand. I cannot keep up with the calls I get and the classes I put on. It is copyrighted in North America as well. This approach will save children a lot of headaches and lowered self-esteem. I know that you are one person who pushes education and I also know that if you would give me a chance, you will see the obvious benefits to children. Pleeeeease answer this letter. | by DICK SCOTT I HAVE FOLLOWED YOU FOR YEARS ON TELEVISION SINCE STARRING WITH ROBT CULP ON I SPY. YOU HAVE IMPRESSED ME IMMENSELY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD WITH ALL OF THE SPECIAL THINGS THAT YOUR FACE OR VOICE HAVE EITHER APPEARED OR WERE HEARD IN. I BECAME TOTTALY DISABLED ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO FALLING DOWNSTAIRS AND ONE OF THE BIGGEST MOMENTS I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE WAS TO MEET YOU. I LIVE IN LEROY, N.Y. (THE HOMETOWN OF JELLO) AND YOU APPEARED IN OUR COMMUNITY IN APPROX JULY OF 2004 TO CELEBRATE YOUR BEING THE SPOKES PERSON FOR JELLO FOR THIRTY YEARS. INFORTUNATELY I MISSED YOU BY ABOUT FIVE MINUTES WHEN YOU GOT INTO OUR LOCAL LIMO SERVICE (S&S LIMO) TO BE TAKEN TO YOUR PLANE AT THE LEROY AIRPORT. WHAT A LET DOWN I HAD. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER MENTIONED THE FACT OF HOW MUCH I RESPECT AND HONOR YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE, WHAT YOU HAVE DONE AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR EVER. | by John Chapman Mr. Cosby, You have always been, in my opinion one of the funniest entertainers of all time. I watched the Fat Albert Cartoons and always enjoyed them even when the cartoon was a repeat. I think you were right on with your comments. If I were to find a fault in your comment the only fault I could find is the reference to just black neighborhoods. All neighborhoods should be included. You watch the news and kids are robbing, killing, etc. The first words out of their lawyers mouth is, "Their upbringing caused this!" No one that I know of could say they were perfect parents and no one I know had perfect parents. I admit you were close in your role as a TV father but in real life every body has faults. If we did not we would not be human. I was watching the movie Indepedence Day a few days ago and I always liked the part were Bill Pullman is boosting his fliers for the final battle and he says,"We can not be consummed with our petty differences." We have to take responsibility for our own actions and pay the consequences. I will let you go now. If you want to respond I left my E-Mail. I am sorry to bring this up but I am very sorry to hear about your son. I will never understand this type of crime. I know that all of your fans suffered with you and your wife. Thank you for your time. John Chapman Comment on this... |
