| by John C. For now, if you like, you can e-me. I'm one of Chevy's brothers, and might, just maybe, consider forwarding any "appropriate" messages, libations or cash contributions to him for you.... (Unless, of course, you're just a bunch of UK burke/wankers hanging around some suburban tool shed, playing with one another's instruments.) Regardless, best of luck! (You know, Chevy adores all kinds of music, and is a talented musician himself.... Send us a demo. Who knows?)

Chevy Chase needs to apologize to President Bush!!!

I applaud Mr. Chase's voice during this critical time. Dialouge is useful and needed, those in positions of power and wealth need to refute others in such positions.

But that doesn't stop Dubya from being exactly what Chevy Chase called him: a "dumb f++ck"!!!

by Cesar Cruz-Bonet I don't understand why many liberals can't see why they lost the elections. The Democratic Party is the party of the inmorals. They will win an election when morals and values are at the top of the agenda. They will not win with people like Chavy Chase, Michael Moore, and the rest of the Hollywood inmorals. This is a party that wants to eliminate God from the arena, and is going to be very difficult. I think that they will eventualy destroy themselves.

by Mark Incredible what ivory tower circus performers (what actors essentially are) such as Chase will do recently when given out-of-big-top-forums. The freedoms he enjoys to play the fool (he does so well) come from the resolve of freedom-engendering US heroes such as President Bush. Amazing such MR/DD thinkers such as Chase forget it was Al Queda who launched the jihad against us on 9-11. He, whoppie, and others brazen enough to display their autistic worldviews have moved themselves into the Freak Show tent. Chase's real name, probably Merle Goebbels. Goldberg’s, Whomby Jones.
I understand you can write the baggy pants clown here:
Chase Chevy 17492 Camino De Yatasto.
Pacific Palisades, CA
|
| by John C. Wrong. He sold that Pacific Palisades spread at a whopping profit way back in 1996!
And wrong again. The freedoms Mr. Chase enjoys did not come from President Bush -- they came from the resolve of REAL freedom-engendering U.S. heroes such as his grandfather, Admiral Miles Browning, his great-grandfather, Admiral Clark Woodward, and his great-(x10)-grandfather, General John Morin Scott, leader of the New York militia under another heroic general of our American Revolution by the name of George Washington.
Chevy Chase is a thirteenth-generation New Yorker, from a family which settled on Manhattan Island in 1624 and never left. He underwent military academy training as the age of 10! His father was a decorated US naval officer. His ancestors on both sides fought in every Colonial American and United States war through Korea. As one result of this bloodline of distinguished US warriors (along with his spine and politically-cynical, working intellect) Mr. Chase has both the hindsight and resulting foresight necessary to determine the simple difference between a just and warranted war, and questionable and unnecessarily bloody overseas military entanglements like Vietnam and the current quagmire in Iraq.
In his professional persona, Chevy Chase has always been a political satirist, from his early days with Channel One right up to the present. He garnered two Emmy Awards in the course of helping to knock President Gerald Ford out of office simply by lampooning him in front of a laugh-starved nation shattered by corruption and treachery, aiding in the disposal of the last vestige of Nixonian influence in American politics -- and all through humor via Saturday Night Live.... Not a single shot fired!
As to your passions concerning terrorism, you're not the only one inflamed about it. Chevy himself was born and bred in lower Manhattan. In fact, his direct ancestor, Stephanus van Cortlandt, the first native-born mayor of New York City, built and lived in a private house at what is now known as Ground Zero. Like the twin towers themselves, the memorial to honor so many who died there will be built on Cortlandt Street, by the very foundations Mr. Chase's family set down there over three centuries ago. (Cortlandt Street is to be renamed Freedom Place, if you can find a clue in that.) The freedoms he enjoys -- the very freedoms so many like yourself seem to forget (can you say "First Amendment"?) -- came not from Dubya the "Dumb F++k" but from Chevy's very own 100% red-blooded American family, which he honors by continuing to vocally challenge hypocritical cheerleaders who attempt to co-opt American patriotism for their own crass political ends.
More family history I'd wager you're ignorant of: Chevy's great-(x10)-grandfather, General John Morin Scott, was the last of General Washington's 22 Brigadiers to argue against surrendering Manhattan to the redcoats -- partially out of concern for his own estate, which is now Times Square and much of the Broadway theater district. However, when the REAL George W., U.S. Hero, pointed out the potential loss of life that defending the island might result in, Scott was capable of seeing the reasoning behind Washington's very difficult call, and supported the evacuation of his troops, the New York militia, from their VERY OWN SOIL. That was a successful strategy, as history bears outs; George W. Bush's strategy (or lack thereof) of drenching a hostile desert of oilfields with American blood is, as current events bear out, NOT.
True patriotism doesn't generally require taking up guns. Those who are able to articulate the sentiments of fellow Americans -- even those opposed to contemporary majority opinion (which is not the case here) -- may best serve our great nation of free speech by doing just that: speaking out freely, like Mr. Chase has always done.

| by stacy John C. AMEN Wow! That is Awsome and VERY Interesting I am so happy to hear that, you have no idea how happy I am to know that! That Gives Me Inspiration Like You would Not Believe Thankyou Thankyou from the bottom of my Heart If Only More People Would Understand Those Things We Would Be Alot Better Off For Knowing So!!

| by Andy It pains me to watch these hollywood libs express how disconnected they are to reality. What even saddens me more is the growing list of entertainers I now will be forced to stop supporting in any way, shape or form. I only thank God that they do not hold the same mindset as the majority of Americans. Morality still holds it's place (for now) in Main Street America.

| by LitBulb Speaking of morals... Is it moral to kill people who live in a country that never attacked us?Is it moral to torture captives? Is it moral to lie to our soldiers and tell them that they get to come home, and then extend their stay indefinitely? Is it moral to own almost all the TV and radio stations in America and broadcast only things that will help your own business? Is it moral to steal 8 billion dollars of oil from Iraq with no records kept and nobody to answer to? Is it moral to know these things and not say anything?
No! So go pray to your God for more money for Christmas presents. I'ts the moral thing to do, Right?

| by LitBulb I'm happy that Chevy can see through the BS that seems to be clouding half of America's eyes. Seriously, just step back and look at the big picture of our land of milk and honey-freedom and justice for all-country. Chevy and the other half of America were always proud that the US would wear the white hat and do the right things like care about other people. We are now a war mongering country killing men women and children for oil/money and power over the whole world. Chevy, just remember that half of the country stands behind what you're saying, and the other "I'm better than all the rest of you" wannabes will never start thinking for themselves and follow the evil leaders into hell. Merry Christmas.

| by Mark I disagree with your information, but am grateful for the freedoms that allow you to voice it. The many broken U.N. resolutions, the connections MSM buried between the lead 9-11 hijacker and Hussein's embassy in Prague 4-01, his funding of suicide bombers in the West Bank, and the fomenting collaboration between Hussein and Islamist terrorists (many living under his protection when his statue came down) tell a different story than the one you and others share. Everytime you share them publicly, however, I thank God for your right. Now we learn while the folly went unchecked, billions were spent on palaces and other Hussein resources while his hungry stayed hungry, and those bold enough to speak out were tortured and killed.
