Additional film credits for Lillard include Love's Labour's Lost with Kenneth Branagh, the hit Miramax comedy She's All That and the sci-fi adventure Wing Commander. Lillard also played the lead role in Sony Pictures Classics' S.L.C. Punk.
The California- raised Lillard attended the Pasadena College of the Arts and subsequently moved to New York, where he studied and then taught at the famed Circle in the Square theater company. Lillard eventually won rave reviews for his starring role as Jason in the London run of Neil LaBute's critically acclaimed play Bash.
After launching his film career with a starring role in John Waters' Serial Mom, with Kathleen Turner, Lillard went on to star in the features Mad Love, Hackers, Senseless and The Curve, and starred opposite Cher and Ann Heche in HBO's If These Walls Could Talk.
Lillard next stars as Shaggy in Warner Bros. Pictures' Scooby-Doo, the live-action feature based on the popular cartoon.
