Sheryl Lee
Lee, who made her theatrical debut in Lynch's Wild At Heart, has become one of the top actresses working in independent films, receiving the 1995 Women in Film's Woman of the Year Award and the Sundance Film Festival's Spririt of Sundance Award for her body of work. Lee recently starred in Bliss opposite Craig Sheffer, Mother Night opposite Nick Nolte, This World, Then the Fireworks, Homage, Notes From the Underground and Backbeat, for which she received rave reviews for her portrayal of 'Astrid Kircherr,' the fifth Beatle's girlfriend.
On stage, Lee starred opposite Al Pacino, in New York's Circle in the Square Theater's production of Salome. Raised in Boulder, Colorado, Lee attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the North Carolina School of the Arts and the National Conservatory Theatre in Denver. Lee currently resides in Los Angeles and is a spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
