The marlon Brando of my generation (Sun Oct 16, 2005 4:22pm ET)report post

Matt dillon is the only iconoclastic actor from his generation, he's beautiful but also briight, intelligent and coherent with himself, he has never sold out and very few actors have that impresive resumé under their arm. And he continous to do so in Crash and factotum, I just want to knoe more about his career and future projects, and of course I'l l love him forever, he is the siexiest, hottest actor and like wine, he only gets better with age. He deserves to be taken more seriously by Hollywood and the A list producers and directos such as Scorsese or Spielberg, he deserves an Oscar for Crash

I think matt dillon's secne in Creash where he resues Thandie Newton is the best and more impressive scene of 2005, Matt Dillon should have won the Oscar instead of George Clooney

I think he is not only the marlon brando of his generation, he is the perfect mixture of brando and james dean, all the critics said so since his debut at 14 in over the edge, since then he has only grown as an actor and as an icon even though he is still very young and handsome and the best movies and roles are still in the near future, hopefully he gets the oportunity of not just working in the independent cinema as he has done thrughout most of his career, but also in big hollywood blockbusters but intelligents and clasics as most of his impressive amount of work

A high school teacher showed our class this movie back in 85 or 86 and I've been hoping to find it somewhere ever since. If I'm not mistaken, it is by Gene Sheppard (sp?) and is another adventure of Ralphie, more well known from "The Christmas Story".

Life Long Fan of Matt Dillon (Mon Mar 14, 2005 2:01am ET)report post

I'm gonna keep this as short possible. When I was 6 no more than 7 I seen Matt for the first time in Over The Edge. You know how most actors are they do good in a few films, and then they aren't worth watching anymore. After watching Over The Edge, I seen Little Darlings, My Bodyguard, Tex, and then The Outsiders. Matt is in all the good movies. I am now 32yrs old and I come to believe that Matt Dillon is the greatest actor of my time. I have a lot more to say about this great actor, but no space. Take~care Shirley

Hey, Matt I dont know if you ever read these, but if you are going to read at least one, lets hope its mine! First off... you are a huge rolemodel in my life! You may ask why, here's why. Your not one of those celebrties who is in the tablodes everyday, because you got some girl pregant! And THANK GOD for that! And second, most roles you play are so inspiring! Like Dallas Winston in The Outsiders. He was so brave and seemed fearless. That movie was so great, one of your best! Smile I will always remember the part at the end, when Johnny dies, and Dally goes off the ball, and he is running away from the police, and getting shot... I have got to tell you, I cry every time I see that! My grand children will know about that if they don't get to see the movie! And in the movie Tex... wow! Can you say HOTTIE! That movie was so moving, about a boys love with his horse... or atleast thats how I saw the movie! Well, I dont to be one of those people that write you e-mails saying how much I love you. I said what i wanted to say, so I dont want to bore you anymore. Well even if you dont read this I hope you know that you have fans out there that you have really touched!
Thank you for your time!
-Sarah Lyman!
