Yes, I've purchased from empirical. I wasn't pleased at all. The set should have had 132 episodes and it only had 130. One of the episodes didn't play. The quality was that great either. They did refund my money. Hope this helps.

Would someone comment on the price/where they purchased it/quality of the dvd.

I would like to hear more about quality.

Are the commercials removed???

These questions are directed to non-MediaLimited.tv purchases, we know they have put out a poor quality product.

I'm looking to buy this set. Is there any news on when an "official" box set will come out? If not, where is the best place to buy this set from? Please email me at: thequeenfive@aol.com

Martin from Bobby (Mon Oct 24, 2005 12:01am ET)report post
by Steven
OK,

I purchased the Martin set from a person named Bobby AKA Rob on this group.
Here is the info --- I received the set in 2 days after he received my payment. A+
The thing is that the DVD's he put the set on were not playing correctly on my PS2 (That's the only DVD Player I have). He said that it was the media he used and he sent me a replacement set that took around a week before I received it. Now the replacement set plays GREAT!!
If your looking to purchase the set, do so by getting it from Bobby. And for the $80 price and the customer service, you can't go wrong..

Martin from Medialimited.tv (Sat Oct 22, 2005 1:36pm ET)report post

Well I just received the Martin Sitcom series on DVD from Medialimited.tv. This is a gift that I purchased for my brother in law since he is a huge Martin fan. I waited for the order over a month, so if you want to purchase from these guys you better be patient. As far as the picture quality of the show, it is fair. These guys are ok but anyone can do just as good if you have the time. The cd's came blank with marked numbers in order, not professionally done as they detailed in their site. I went out and bought a cd labeler so I can create labels myself. The cd's also did not come in individual cases as they said they would. A total of twelve cd's in a bubbled manila envelope is all you get, not 15 and not cased individually as they detailed, so if you just need to have Martin at least you will get it from these guys. I only checked about 4 so I have not checked all the cd's, but from the ones that I checked, there were area's that when commercials came, it continued and then stopped and started the Martin show again. The thing that is nice is you get a screen menu. You can pick the show you want to see and it starts there, but other than that I give these guys a C- for their effort to produce something professional, but for $144.00 these guys are making out like bandits.

Martin on Dvd (Sun Oct 16, 2005 1:29pm ET)report post

Has anyone ordered the sitcom Martin from medialimited.tv and actually received order from them. I ordered the set and I've been waiting for my order and have not received it. It’s been almost a month and still no DVD. I also tried to contact them and can't get any answers, just a message stating that they are backed up and will contact as soon as possible. Please do not order anything from them, I will send a message when I actually receive the order. I know that this site can not guarantee anyone is honest but atleast you can get an idea. Good Luck.

http://web-worldwide.net/pd_martin.cfm is the name of a web page where they are selling every episode on a 15 disc set. Although, he/she is selling it for $125, so you would probably be better off buying it off of they guy selling it for $80 on this page.

You suggested MediaLimited.tv for the Martin DVD. I've been trying to reach their customer service via their website , but haven't gotten an e-mail back. Are they still in business, and are they reliable?? Any other suggestions on how to contact them??
