| by Ben Ziegler Very interesting and talented. There isn't an actor like him and he has great versatility. he can be an action star, a romantic lead, a comedic star possibly and a dramatic lead. Though i didn't rate his performance in 'The Truth About Charlie' or 'The Planet Of The Apes' and 'The Big Hit' wasn't exactly 'Face/Off' i believe his performances in 'The Basketball Diaries' {shocking}, 'Fear' {intense}, Boogie Nights {breathtaking} and 'Three Kings' {Magnetic} are four of the standout performances of the nineties. His characterisation as Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights is up there with what Depp did in 'Donnie Brasco' and what Damon did in 'Good Will Hunting' in terms of inventing themselves into real characters. | by Debbie E I love this guy!!! Not only is is EXTREMELY pleasing on the eye (a man who looks like a man) but his acting ain't half bad too. Especially to do what he did in 'Boogie Nights', I think that took some courage, especially considering the 'Marky Mark' baggage some people still want to tie to him. I think we still haven't seen the best of him yet though. He seems to have done so much but yet he still seems so young too. I'm looking forward to more and more and more from him.
