Jun Falkenstein
Jun Falkenstein makes her feature film directing debut on 'The Tigger Movie,' having previously directed the Pooh characters in their 1998 primetime television special, 'A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving.' Born in raised in Laguna Beach, California, she attended USC's prestigious School of Cinema-Television, where she majored in live-action production and made several animated student films. She graduated in 1991 and launched her industry career at Warner Bros. Animation in their layout and development departments. After 1-1/2 years, Falkenstein moved over to Hanna Barbera to direct a segment of the 'Arabian Nights' telefilm. In 1996, she took a position with Disney's Television Animation division where she helped storyboard the direct-to-video sequel, 'Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World.' She went on to co-direct the 'A Very Goofy Christmas' segment of the 1999 video release, 'Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas.'
