| by andrea hirsch Kim worked long and hard to get to where she's at. Brandon Teena moved to start a new life and it ended tragically in 3weeks. It took Kim 5 yrs. to put that incredible,powerful and most of all heartwrenching film together.(boys don't cry). She took people that weren't known very well(actors) and made a in my opinion A CHANGE OF OPENING EYES. I am a lesbian myself and a virgo and we tend to take a creative and almost sadistic chance on things in life. I hope she can top what she has already accomplished. But of course without it being a devistatingly true story like boys don't cry. Kim has a bright future ahead of her and I have no doubts. I think she's just totally awesome. And by the way she looks like Gina Davis with long dark hair.  thanks...........andrea Comment on this... |
