Troy Miller
A two-time Emmy Award-winning director, Miller has directed over a hundred short films, as well as many episodic and television films. Miller is also well known as the producer/director of the opening films that aired during three recent Oscar telecasts, which featured host Billy Crystal re-enacting scenes from the nominated films, as well as the historic 2000 Oscar telecast that featured Crystal interacting with great actors from the past. Miller also produced and directed several MTV Movie Awards film segments that featured Mike Myers, Janine Garafalo, Vince Vaughn, Jay Leno and Ben Stiller.
Miller's production company, Dakota Pictures, produces a myriad of network event specials, such as David Blaine: Vertigo and many others. The company is also a veteran television series supplier to all of the major networks as well as Comedy Central and MTV, this also includes the critically acclaimed HBO comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David, as well as Tenacious D with Jack Black. Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd is the company's third feature film, with other credits being the television special David Blaine: Vertigo.
