by Mark It's been a few months since I watched the movie and wrote some pretty nasty reviews, but just recently someone mentioned Bourne Supremacy and brought back lots of anger. I almost threw up waching the movie. I disliked the camera work so much that it enrages me everytime I think about it. I checked out Greengrass' contact info and none is listed. If you guys would post it, I will do all you guys a favor and kick his ass. At least a few punches, nothing serious. The guy looks like a freak. Reminds me of my lesbian instructor in college. I've never felt like this before, but I can't get over this rage. I will catch up with him someday...1 year, 5 years, 10 years.

agreed. have the oddest rage about PG. we were pissed off after leaving united 93 halfway through because we were getting queasy from his unsteady-cam... and more so after sitting all the way through a POS third Bourne movie. How does this guy, a dimwitted hack, get to continue to make movies?

| by Rudy So, Mr. Shakes the Camera Operator thinks I'm an idiot because the shaky film technique was a terrible experince for me??
He says that the "experts" would refer to me as a real idiot.
Who the hell does he think is watching the films these morons are making? It is WE, the people paying for that abuse who are the EXPERTS, and YOU my friend are the real idiot!!!
The camera man is not something I want to know about when I watch a flick--it's supposed to be entertainment that takes me away from reality and INTO the film's fantasy. If I'm constantly reminded that some "idiot" is actually filming the actors, the value of that experience disappears very quickly then, doesn't it?
I really don't care about how creative you can be with your camera, I paid to be entertained, NOT EDUCATED.
But, that's ok, if you don't like the public that puts out the money for you to make that trash, just understand that I no longer watch any film made by shaky cam goof balls.
Rudy, the customer.

| by Rudy Ferraro I just went to see Bourne Supremacy. It was without a doubt THE MOST UN-ENJOYABLE FILM EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I've been really disgusted recently by this "new creative CRAP" film makers have been doing with the shaky, home-video cam look. The movie was virtually un-watchable. The dizzying jerking, focusing in and out and swinging of the camera shots was nauseating. I gave up watching the TV series "Traffic" for the same reason.
I don't know what idiot decided that the viewer needs to know that there is a camera man on the job, but movies are supposed to take one away into that world of fiction, NOT make one dizzy. I suppose my next move will be to NEVER see another Paul Greengrass film--if I wanted to get dizzy I'd just hold my breath too long and stay home.
Too bad to, it would have been an awesome movie if I could have actually watched it.

| by dan I was looking for the director's email address to tell him to stop shaking the camera so much. It was like watching COPS for two hours.
Hope he gets enough complaints to hold the camera still like he did in the first one, which was way better than Supremacy.

Paul Greengrass is a talentless hack, and a moron. I agree with Mark, here: Greengrass just makes me angry.
Dan: the reason the first movie was so much better than the newer Bourne movies is that the first was directed by a different guy: Doug Liman, who actually knows how to make a good movie, film scenes that don't constantly call attention to technique, and how to shoot action without inducing nausea.
