Guy Ferland

Guy Ferland recently won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Children's Special for his work on the Showtime Film Bang Bang, You're Dead, starring Tom Cavanaugh and Ben Foster. The film won three additional Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Children's Special, and received the prestigious George Peabody Award. Ferland also received the DGA Award for Outstanding Directional Achievement in Children's Programs.

Ferland's other feature film credits include Telling Lies In America, with Kevin Bacon, Brad Renfro, Calista Flockhart and Maximillan Schell. The film received the National Board of Review's Excellence in Filmmaking Award. Ferland also directed After The Storm, which won Best Feature Film at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, as well as Best Feature Film at the Angelciti Film Festival in Los Angeles. Ferland directed the ABC Theatre presentation of Our Guys starring Ally Sheedy, Eric Stoltz and Heather Matarazzo, as well as episodes of the acclaimed FX series The Shield.

Ferland received a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Production from the University of Southern California School of Cinema and Television in 1988.
