James Mangold Forum

| by Torrey I was extremely disappointed with James Mangold's interpretation of Girl, Interrupted. The book was phenomenal, well-written, insightful, and unique. Mangold's treatment of it was shallow and predictable, missing the entire point of the book and slapping on a cliched moral of hard work overcoming all obstacles, including crippling mental illness. I would be ashamed to have my name on that screenplay. Comment on this... |

| by Jen I'm happy to see such diverse writing/directing. His work is timeless. I hope to see him do a period piece and I would love to see Jodie Foster in one of his movies. Comment on this... |
