Roach also wrote and was the associate producer on 'Blown Away' starring Jeff Bridges and Tommy Lee Jones.
For television he co-produced, co-wrote and acted as second unit director on the telefilm 'Lifepod,' a science fiction adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's 'Lifeboat' which starred Ron Silver and Robert Loggia.
A graduate of Stanford University, Roach went on to earn a master's degree in film production from the University of Southern California. While at USC, his short subject film, 'Asleep at the Wheel,' was nominated for a student academy award.
Roach was born and raised in New Mexico. His wife, Susanna Hoffs, is the lead singer of the rock and roll group The Bangles. She appears in the film as part of the musical group Ming Tea along with Mike Myers, Matthew Sweet, Stuart Johnson and Chris Ward. Hoffs also sings the 'Austin Powers' version of Burt Bacharach's hit song 'What's It All About, Alfie?'
