Hi! I work for a Theatre Company in Caracas-VENEZUELA.We are very interested in the play"STEEL MAGNOLIAS"by Robert Harling . To put it on stage (In spanish) in a local theatre here Caracas, next year 2009. We haven't been able to find out about the Literary agency that manage Robert Harling's plays, in order to get information about the rigths, and permissions related to this text. We will be really gratefull to Anybody that could extend to us any link, adress, or person that we could contact in order to get information about this matter...Thanks.

I saw online that Mr. Harling had written the screenplay for this movie, but most of the posts were old. What is going on? Is it going to be made and onscreen in the near future? I love this book! Can I be an extra in the movie---Ha! I was so excited to read that the book was going to be made into a movie, but since posts about it are old, I would like to know what's going on. I think it will be a great success if brought to the screen!
