| by cf For all you equalibrium fans out there, im a fan myself...did any one else get confused about the gun trade there with tay digs and bale.I often wonder if the guy who edits the film picked the wrong gun trade sequence couse he did have his own gun in the nethers when he saved the dog.the trade was made after that we are lead to believe.any one get that?...besides that mistake i realy likes that movie i just pretent they made the trade when they were talking near the white car after a raid,.and then he gave it back to him before the exicution of all those sense offenders. | by Mandark When one is comparing The Matrix and Equilibrium they've missed the point in both movies totally.... It's like comparing The Sound Of Music to Independence Day... sounds quite ridiculous, eh? Both The Matrix-saga and Equilibrium are fantastic productions, but they've got really nothing incommon. And I don't think one of the lead characters is ''better'' than the other one, they were both simply brilliant in their movies. I could not find the soundtrack either, but you should try Kazaa or similar. I got it from there, eventually. Comment on this... |

| by Victor Equilibrium is simply better than Matrix 2, due to the simple fact that the atmosphere is better... the scenes are much more realistic and you actually feel the danger. The "Gun-Kata" theory is admirable. Moreover nothing of this could be without Christian Bale, it is he that makes the film more "fascinating" and we can come to the simple conclusion that Christian Bale is a better actor than Keanu Reeves... However i do have a question; where is the Equilibrium soundtrack!?!?!?! damn... the music was fantastic, and i can not beleive that there is no soundtrack to buy!!! Equilibrium is simply the BEST! 10/10+ Comment on this... |

| by tom AGREED It wins and makes Matrix Reloded seem pedestrian. Equilibrium is raw and draws on classic dystopias like Brave New World which is cool and needs to be done as we rub our eyes and realise that orwell's big brother ain't so far off... Comment on this... |

| by Robin I love this film. The fight sequences are fantastic, the story is hard. But it opened my eyes - The "Third Reich" can become reality again - and all mankind should fight against these form of administration. Robin from Germany Comment on this... |

| by George This movie ("Equilibrium") clearly outshines the Matrix Reloaded. It carries an emotional wallop, crisp, visceral action, and it's novel martial art "GunKata" is a fresh and original idea. Kurt Wimmer has created an impressive action film where you actually care about the characters. In contast, I felt really disassociated from what went on in the "Matrix Reloaded." This is not a fun film. It is very dark, oppressive, and disturbing, but well worth watching due to the fact that it makes you think about the freedom to express ourselves that we take for granted. | by GW Much agreed. In a head to head vs The Matrix 2, Equilibrium got the nod as the better picture. The style is dark gritty, the sense of danger more real. Less CG. More skilled ( and unique) choreography of fight sequences. Emotionaly more compelling. Better storytelling. Comment on this... |

| by Judy Very surprised to see his work 'Equilibrium" with simple but striking visual style in the film, and the music temp is terrific to fit in the pictures... Bale's perforamce is impressive, good main actor choice. Comment on this... |
