Charlie Chaplin (Tue Aug 23, 2005 3:33pm ET)report post

I just have to say that I just love Charley Chaplin. I have to admit, my ultimate fave of all his movies,is Limelight. I cried so much at the end when his character(?) died. I also had seen the movie Chaplin 14 times. My oldest daughter laughs out loud because she loves to hear me repeat some of the lines. I'm just very grateful that I'm not the only one out here who loves " old" movies. May God bless Charlie, his family and all of his fans!

Charlie chaplin is now my most favourite actor. It was such a shame that he was depressed in his lfe while many many people loved his funny tramp figure! and made lots of people laugh.
I loved MODERN TIMED, THE CIRCUS, CITY LIGHTS, THE KID. I will be watching the great dictator soon.

To French-speaking people (Sun Nov 9, 2003 11:58am ET)report post

Bonjour,

A très bientôt!

Lucie

His films are always great to see, they make me laugh all the time. It's also a pleasure to read a book about him, his story of how he made it to the top of the list of hollywood stars is the most inspiring story i have ever read, and his family must be very proud of him.
