| by shane i dont think there is any actress right now that has the beauty, class and talent of cate blanchett. shes in a league of her own. shes got presence like no other. shes got to be of the most beautiful actress out there. i am australian myself and i am proud that she was born and raised here. shes just so lovely and is a great role model for young women. it boggles the mind that gwyneth paltrow won the oscar over her. elizabeth I was a brilliant protrayal and there is no doubt we will see more great acting by this phenomenal actress. | by send I don't think there is a more versatile actor right now than the sublime Cate bLanchett. She is such a chameleon. I just saw Aviator and she blows my mind. But I'd have to say, her Elizabeth was such a brilliant moment and every actor (Gwyneth Paltrow included, though she is a good actress herself) must have felt a stab thinking: god, is this elizabeth I, I wish I were that talented.
