| by Linda from brook lane I knew George from Rye Brook - I was on Brook Lane, he was a few houses down on Jean Lane. Committed to his craft even in childhood, George's parents also were very kind people. George, if you are reading this, I am thrilled for your success! Best, Linda Stephenson Comment on this... |

| by mindy George Gallo is an incredibly complex screenwriter who deserves to go down in history along with other great writers and thinkers ie; Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, I teach argument and persuasion at the college level. The first time I saw Midnight Run I knew I was watching a movie written by a brilliant thinker. Midnight Run is filled to the brim with examples of rhetoric and argument. For most of us it is very difficult to detect fallacies in human conversation but to understand the psychology behind emotional appeals and capture that in dialogue takes a truly great mind. If you are looking for a screenplay that captures the essence of persuasion - Midnight Run is a must see movie. Comment on this... |
