| by Keith Williams I'm so excited to hear about this!!! I'm 28 years old, and for some reason the making of this movie has been on my mind for years now! It's actually been kind of weird because I've really thought about this alot, it's even keep me up some nights thinking about how this movie should be. I'm no producer, but I can almost picture how this movie could be, and I'm sure it would make a killing in the box office!! I would love to share my ideas and my inthusiasm with the maker of this film. I'm no weirdo but this movie has had a real grip on me for some reason and I feel like I'm suppose to reach out and give my ideas (what actors I think would work/ and the story board) but please do not think I'm saying my ideas are better, I'm just saying I've pictured this movie in my head and I would be excited if those thoughts would make it to the big screen! If I'm not responded to please at least here this, I think the movie should start with Arnold on the throne where the last on ended, but this time the begining credits will explain that after many years of ruling his kingdom, Conan finds himself getting old and having to face an enemy even stronger than himself. The movie will also flash back to when he was on his journey to the throne, and he gets a lady pregnant, but what he does not know is that he has a kid with her. The kids name is conan, but thinks his mom only named him after the king, but not that he is the actual son of the king! The movie will start out showing him as a really tough kid (played by the kid that calls himself little hercules), inspired to be like the king, to getting older and finding out he is trully the son of the king (played by the rock). He will then go on a journey to help fight for his father Conan, who is in a loosing war, unite with his father, and overtake the enemy (wich will be played by Brock Lesner). This will start a whole new series of Conans with Rock as the lead character! Tell me that don't sound cool as @#$%! I swear I can see the whole movie in my head, and I'd love to see it on the big screen!!!!! Posted by: keith | October 13, 2006 05:09 AM Oh and Conan SR. will obviously be played by Arnold, and I think Conan JR should also have a tough leading lady, to be like a new Red Sonja! I was also thinking that he should have like a stepfather, which he thinks is his real father till finding out other wise, and that guy should be played by a tough guy, who finds himself going to war and fighting with his raised son, but dieng while doing so! | by Max Navo Dear sir, I'm taking this time to write you this letter because only a few moments ago, I heard you were to be one of the most privliged men on the face of this good earth. You are given the responsiblilty to bring alive to its full potential the dark, sinister, untammed world of Hyborea. The world of Conan, "when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars," (The Pheonix on the Sword). I have been an avid reader of Mr. Howard for some few years now. Me being only 20, I discovered the creation of this savage world three years ago. Ever since then my outlook on the world has been different. Aye, how things change and for the good. Civilizations are weak and futile... (changing the subject). All I want to say sir, is be true to Mr. Howard. His stories of Conan are in few as well in short of pages; however, stay true to his writings, savagery, clever (not cheesy) diologue but even more so to Conan. He is no bodybuilder, but a creation of a proto celtic, Atlantean barbarian. Hairy chested with iron limbs, (Not oiled down twenty two inch biceps). He is not civilized, and that is the reason why Conan is great. He is an anti-hero too. He watches his own arse only because in the time of savages, you fought to see the next day. JUST STAY FAITHFULL! Sincerly, Max Navo ps, I'd be honored to help in anyway with this project. In my own dreams I would be the Berserker Warrior Conan, but I'm no actor, though I stand at 6'1" 240 pounds, black raven hair, however, no blue eyes. Haha, if anything, I'll be willing to help in anyway. Thank you for you time. Comment on this... |

| by David Brenna "Remember the Titans" is one of the most powerful movies that I have ever watched. I am only two years younger than Mr. Yakin, but I remember the the racial turmoil that the United States was going through during the early 1970's---especially in the Southern states, where busing had just been been "forced" upon the "white" schools. "Remember the Titans" shows not only the racial prejudices that our parents were brought up to believe in, but that were being forced upon us as children. Then, we had to take a step back and say to ourselves, "Is this really worth all of the anger and hate?", while our country was involved in a war (which wasn't mentioned in the movie, I noticed). The Klan was just starting to lose it's power and it's membership began to drop back then, too (thankfully). I just wanted to let Mr. Yakin know that he made a wonderful movie that I have watched over a dozen times on TV and now own because I love it so much. And, Mr. Yakin, if you are ever in need of a writer/editor, then please let me know. Thank you. Comment on this... |

| by Kerim Yalim Hi, I just wacthed 'uptown girls' on Showtime, and I noticed the director's name being Boaz Yakin, and out of curiousity, I was wondering if his background was Turkish? Boaz, as it pronounced sounds and means, Bosphorus, which is the straight divides Istanbul in half, as it does the contenents of Europe and Asia..... and his last name Yakin, means, close by... no significance but just curiousity.....
