| by RayW1 Hey to all in this forum, my guess is that Baz will never be reading anything here because it is only a fan site but, a progress report on the story of Barbara Crawford Thompson. Her story has now been completely unraveled and her full and amazing history as a castaway with headhunting cannibals can now be told. If anyone would like to read the true story of this young [12-year-old] lass just Google the above title. This book has now appeared on BBC Television, BBC Radio Scotland and the UK Daily Mail newspaper. The story is extremely popular in the UK, and parts of Europe. I would love to see Baz Luhrmann take up the challenge of producing the story of a 13-year-old girl cast away with headhunters in the Torres Strait.
