Nick Gomez
Nick Gomez made his feature film directorial debut with the acclaimed independent production of Laws of Gravity, which he also wrote.
Gomez was born in New York City and raised in Chile and New England. He attended college at SUNY at Purchase in New York, where he first became involved in the independent film world. He served in numerous capacities from driver to editor on various productions before assuming the mantle of director on 'Laws of Gravity. He also wrote and directed the 1995 feature New Jersey Drive and directed Illtown" in 1996.
On television, Gomez has directed several episodes of the NBC series homicide: Life on the Street. For HBO, he has helmed three episode of the gritty prison drama, Oz, and most recently a segment of the hit series The Sopranos.
