Dead in the water?..not in his life. (Mon Sep 20, 2004 6:41am ET)report post

I had the fortunate opportunity to enroll in his
2 day acting class 6 years ago. The whole
time he instructed was a wonderful performance as teacher. He kept alluding to
the expression "dead in the water" as being
without a spirit, energy or 'life' as one is in front of a camera
or on stage.

In all my years as a student in college, I've
never experienced a teaher infused with a
controlled andrenaline rush transformed
into an exciting flow of information. It's as if he
had so much acquired knowledge , he was
able to use his acting abilities to teach in
3 dimensions: Verbal, the acting (through his
example) and a glimpse at something
on a spiritual level.

He was an artist that never lost a zest for
his craft.

I felt so lucky to have met him and learned from him.
