I've been trying to get this letter to Mr. Hooks. His agency has not been giving us any luck. Is there anyone who would know how to forward the following message to him?
My email address for response is nghiemri@yahoo.com

Dear Mr. Kevin Hooks,

My name is Richard Nghiem, the staff physician from the Long Beach Veterans Hospital who wrote to you several weeks ago in regards to a patient named Mr. Francis Walker. I understand that the staff at United Talent Agency was able to forward his screenplay entitled “The Kingdom of Ghana” to you. Although I do realize it is only a dream to have this screenplay actually become realized, I think it would mean a great deal to him if you could just acknowledge that you have received it in the form of a letter, a quick e-mail, or a quick phone call. Even if you haven’t finished reading, it would be very uplifting to him if he got acknowledgement from you that you have received his screenplay.

To refresh your memory, Mr. Walker is a veteran of the United States Armed Forces who suffered a spinal cord injury. He was admitted for pressure sores and is awaiting surgery for this. Apparently, he has lived a long life in the entertainment industry and says that he met your father Robert Hooks a long time ago. You and your father are inspirational to his work and he admires the both of you very much.

I, as well as the other members of our hospital staff, have come to realize that he is a talented screenwriter . Over the past few years, he has written a screenplay called "The Kingdom of Ghana." which I as well as the other members of our interdisciplinary team has read and enjoyed greatly. Due to its rich characters and passionate moments, I have learned a great deal about African American history. Our patient’s dream is to at least have it get into your hands. He has been bed bound for some time and without full use of his hands from his quadriplegia, has not been able to try to contact you on his own. This would be a community service for a United States veteran, and would mean a great deal to him.

Thank You.

You need more info on how he got started in the industry. The stuff you have can be easily found on the net. Sad

Mr. Hooks, I had no ideal that you were from Philly. I was born in West Philly and went to Overbrook and Temple. I hope you get an opportunity to direct Will Smith in a movie.
Keep up the great work.
Peace and Happy Belated Birthday to you!
