Biography #2 (for How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days)

Donald Petrie, a graduate of the American Film Institute, landed his first career break when Steven Spielberg viewed his film, The Expert, and hired him to direct an episode of the popular television series, Amazing Stories, which starred Sid Caesar. Petrie made his feature film directorial debut with the critically acclaimed, Mystic Pizza. His other feature film credits include Grumpy Old Men starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau and The Favor starring Elizabeth McGovern, Brad Pitt, Harley Jane Kozak and Bill Pullman, and most recently, Miss Congeniality, starring Sandra Bullock.
