Did you have any luck locating Ron? A friend of his, from baseball days, Joe Cullinane (former sportscaster - now 80 years old) lost contact and would like to re-connect with Ron. Could you share what you found with Joe - he doesn't have email (doesn't like computers).

Thanks - hope you had luck with your search.

Ciao,

Vince

Ron Shelton

Dear Sir,

It has taken me much time to venture upon writing to you.
This is the first time I write such a letter.

I am an engineer and I like watching new films.
I think the cinema is one of the best arts.
They release a lot of films at present. The majority of them are interesting. However it is almost always possible to predict the plot an the end of the film. It is because many films have uniform plots.

Your films differ from other films. They are made by a talented person. They are original and have bright plots. I consider you one of the best masters of the modern cinematography. I have seen the majority of your films. They are brilliant. I have seen some of them several times. I admire your skill.

There are great mathematicians, great philosophers, great generals. And there are great film directors whom the world needs because they make films that make people think.
I consider you a Great Film Director.

It was the impression produced by your films that made me write several brief film plots. Absolutely new and unique ideas underlie each of them; these ideas make them different from many of the films I have seen. The ideas of the plots have been neither described in any books I have read nor used in any film. The plots describe life situations that have not yet happened but may happen at any moment.
These plots are real life plots and can be classified as thrillers.

However I am not a scriptwriter or a writer and I am most unlikely to be ever able to make films of these plots. I will be very sorry if it happens, because no doubt these films would be popular with spectators.

Taking into account you experience in both filmmaking and scriptwriting I think you may be interested in the new ideas that would more intensively demonstrate your talent of a Great Master of the modern cinematography.
I believe that due to your experience and skill you are the only person who could use some of the ideas underlying my scripts.

I am sorry for my venture to write to you. I have never written to you before and I am unlikely to have the nerve to write again.

Sincerely yours,
Uzlov Alexander
P.S. I think my letter is not worth reading it but I will be thankful to you if you had enough patience to read it up to the end.

I enjoyed"Tusks of terror". It is a gripping thriller. The moral dilemma of divided loyal;ties and ethical choices are age old, but you succeeded in giving it a fresh twist in this novel.
Eva 'Telusplanet'

I bought your book when it first came out at Roulstons. I thoroughly enjoyed it! My daughter has read it and enjoyet it too. Now, my sister is reading it. The local names and places used make it most iterestin. It is full of suspense and romance. I would highly recommend it.

A rip-snorting, page turning novel... Jambor's novel would make a tremendous script for a 1950s' science fiction movie. David Judd-managing editor, Brantfor Expositor.

I couldn't sleep all night.
Rita Kalmbach, Mayor of Norfolk County.

I read your book and it is spectacular.
John at Al's Shoe Factory.

I couldn't put it down.
Ann at Norfolk office supply.

It was worth waiting for.
