Lindsay was a wonderful man who had a deep appreciation for Dir. John Ford. When Lindsay did "The Whales of August" I grew to know him as a delightful Brit with more challenge and charisma than a man at that age should have - but he did. He encouraged my own carrer a great deal and it has served me rather well.
I miss him.
