by by Karen English I just purchased the DVD for Officer and a Gentleman. After 19 years Taylor Hackford gave a commentary on the DVD that was amazing. I hung on every word. He remembered such detail and it caused me to view the movie again with so much more depth and enjoyment. Thank you for taking the time to allow those of us who love the movie to gather so much information that allowed us to see it as brand new. Your talent is truly a gift to those of us who enjoy great movies. Sincerely! Comment on this...

by Angela Williams I doubt Mr. Hackman will see this, but just incase he does or someone else does I thought I would post. He did such a splendid job with Ray Charles was wondering if ever considered doing a movie about Sam Cooke? I'm suprised that no one has yet. It's been 40 + years since he died and he still has a huge fan based (both young and old) His story is really quite interesting and amazing. And what an amazing voice. http://www.samcooke.com/ I also have to say that Nick Cannon sure looks an acts an awful lot like Sam Cooke. Much like Jamie Foxx looked like Ray Charles . . . just an idea . .. . . . Comment on this...

by Christopher Hals Gylseth There is now, for the first time ever, a biography about Julia Pastrana on the english-speaking book market. I have written it together with my friend Lars Toverud, and the publisher is Sutton Publishing (London, UK). Our book containes a lot of new material about her life, in America, Europe, and in Norway — where her body is to be found. This information could be interesting to Mr. Hackford, concerning the planned film about Julia. Comment on this...
