She's so ugly, her talent faded away, and she no longer is that girl, I knew her from older movies.... Is that some plastic - surgery consequences showing, or simply comes with an age..... | by ps meg ryan was cute, but the face lifts and collagen implants have ruined that completely. she was a beautiful woman who could've aged gracefully, but i guess nobody does that in hollywood, so i'm not going to hold that against her. but looks in general are transitory and different people find different things attractive, so let's move on... as far as her filmography goes, i'm not at all impressed. she only does one type of genre - romantic comedy. she's basically the same person in every movie - a woman caught in a sticky romantic situation or hopeless in love i.e. sleepless in seattle, you've got mail, kate & leopold, french kiss, city of angels, the list goes on. there's nothing different about any of the characters she's played - they're all bland and boring. it's been overdone. i would think someone of her age and experience would have greater acting credits to her name, but quite frankly, there are better actresses out there! look at someone like kate winslet who's played lots of different roles in different types of films - drama, comedy, modern, period pieces, etc. another good example is witherspoon, or paltrow. comparatively, meg is very limited as an actress. enough of the romantic comedies already! do something that makes people take notice.
