Michael Dowse

Michael Dowse is an award-winning writer, producer and director based out of Montreal. Mike moved from Calgary to Montreal in 2002 to produce and direct films out of Quebec. FUBAR, his first feature film, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2002 and went on to become one of the best selling DVDs in Canadian film history.

His film It's All Gone Pete Tong won the City Award for Best Canadian Feature at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2004. It also picked up the Best Film Award at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival and Grand Jury prize at New York's Gen Art Film Festival.

Mike recently completed the feature film Young Americans starring Topher Grace and Anna Faris for Imagine Entertainment and Universal Pictures. The movie is slated for release in December 2009.
