Paul J. Spence

Paul J. Spence was born in Calgary where he began improvising at an early age under the tutelage of Keith Johnstone at the Loose Moose theatre. After squeezing a BA English Literature out of Concordia University in Montreal, he re-joined forces with his long time friend Dave Lawrence in Calgary and made FUBAR during a four week, no-budget indie film ride with director Mike Dowse.

He's written for Bruce McDonald, CBC, Hour, VICE, and Maxim magazine, and has acted alongside such notables as Richard Gere (I'm Not There), David Boreanaz (These Girls), and Tom Green (Freezer Burn). He is currently working as a consultant to France's largest video game manufacturer, and is in pre-production for a western he co-wrote with Dave Lawrence.
