Song Kang-Ho
Widely acknowledged as the top Korean actor of his generation, Song Kang-Ho marks his fourth collaboration with director Park Chan-wook on Thirst, following Joint Security Area, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.
He has also notably teamed with Bong Joon-ho, starring in the director's Memories of Murder and the blockbuster horror hit The Host (for which Song was named Best Actor at the Asian Film Awards); and with director Kim Ji-woon on The Quiet Family, The Foul King, and The Good, The Bad, The Weird.
Among Song's other films are Song Neung-han's No. 3, which was his breakout role; Kang Je-gyu's Shiri; Lim Chan-sang's The President's Barber; Han Jae-rim's The Show Must Go On; Yim Pil-Sung's Antarctic Journal; and Lee Chang-dong's Secret Sunshine.
