Chris Hemsworth can currently be seen in Paramount Pictures' blockbuster hit Star Trek, playing George Kirk, father to James T. Kirk. Hemsworth is currently in preproduction on Paramount's Thor, based on the Marvel comic character. Hemsworth will play the title character and
Kenneth Branagh will direct the film. Hemsworth will also star in MGM's remake of Red Dawn, and he recently wrapped shooting Ca and MGM's The Cabin in the Woods. Hemsworth also starred in Australia's Logie Award-winning soap opera Home and Away. For his role, he received three Logie Award nominations, winning one Most Popular New Talent in 2005.
