Ari Sandel

Making his feature film directorial debut, Ari Sandel's career as a director includes projects in television, film and music videos. He made his mark in the independent film world by directing an Academy Award-winning short film entitled WEST BANK STORY, a musical comedy about Israelis and Palestinians that takes place between two falafel stands. The short premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2005 and has screened at over one hundred film festivals worldwide, including the Dubai International Film Festival and Jerusalem Jewish Festival. Sandel also created, directed, and hosted The Traveler, a comedic travel segment on the FX channel's The X Show. His other directorial projects include various independent music videos and short films.

Sandel has a Master's degree from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema & Television and a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts from the University of Arizona. Born and raised in Calabasas, California, Sandel currently resides in Hollywood, where he is presently developing comedy projects and films.
