Bret Ernst
The following year the industry started to take notice when Bret was offered a talent holding deal with ABC/Touchstone. Bret continues his relationship with Touchstone, working with them in a development deal. Bret is collaborating with Touchstone and show creators Barry Kemp (creator of Coach and Newhart) and Eric Lapidus (creator of Two and a Half Men) to star in a sitcom based on his stand-up comedy.
Although Bret enjoys acting, his first love is, and always will be, stand-up comedy. He is a national headliner, performing in clubs across the country. Bret has headlined in some of the best rooms in America, including The Improv Chains and the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. He has also headlined sold-out shows in Las Vegas, including Beacher's Madhouse at The Hard Rock Casino.
Bret has a recurring role on the Showtime original series Weeds. He recently completed work on the independent film Legacy and hosted the MTV show Wrestling Society X, and has appeared on the shows Fox's Sports List and on the upcoming season of Comedy Central's Premium Blend. He is also being featured on Byron Allen's Entertainment Studio as one of the nation's top new comedians.
