On television, Rothenberg appeared as the lead character in the six-episode series Misconceptions. Other credits include guest-starring roles in a diverse array of dramas such as Hack, Dick Wolf's Conviction, The Jury and NY-70.
Rothenberg's long and varied list of stage credits include the John Patrick Shanley sensation Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (Off Broadway - Drama League Nomination), as well as the Kennedy Center production of A Streetcar Named Desire opposite Patricia Clarkson. Other productions include A Steady Rain (New York Stage and Film), The Wooden Breeks (Off Broadway), Lady Windermere's Fan (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Birdy (Off Broadway), Mother of Invention (Williamstown Theatre Festival), as well as Seascape with Sharks and Dancer, Close Encounters, The Beautiful One, Mad Forest and Specter.
Rothenberg studied acting at The Acting Studio under James Price in New York City.
