Nonso Anozie
Nonso Anozie trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. His first foray into acting was with the Royal Shakespeare Company where he played the leading role in 'King Lear' and is the youngest person in history to play the part. He then went on to perform at the National alongside Kenneth Brannagh in 'Edmund' taking the lead role and in 'Othello' where he did a world tour winning the Magnolia Award for Best Male Actor in China and the Ian Charleston Award for Best Young Actor for the same role. THE LAST LEGION marks Anozie's feature film debut. Later this year, Anozie will be seen in Joe Wright's ATONEMENT, and is providing the voice of Iorek Byrnison, the armoured bear, in THE GOLDEN COMPASS, based on Philip Pullman's best-selling trilogy, His Dark Materials.
