Madeleine Martin

Madeleine Martin captured Broadway's attention just after her seventh birthday, when she starred in the Broadway National Tour of The Sound Of Music with Richard Chamberlain. At the age of 10, she received rave reviews for her performance in the title role of A Day In The Death Of Joe Egg. Her performance was so heartbreakingly stunning that she was invited to be the youngest presenter in history at the 2003 Tony Awards. Next, Martin starred in Martin McDonough's The Pillowman, alongside Billy Crudup and Jeff Goldblum. 'The New York Times' Arts & Leisure section profiled her at the age of 12.

In a departure from these darker roles, Martin spent four seasons as the voice of the beloved JoJo on JoJo's Circus, Disney's wildly successful animated television series. She has guest starred on Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Hope And Faith and Saturday Night Live.

An accomplished dancer, she has performed with the world-renowned New York City ballet at Lincoln Center in Christopher Wheeldon's Scenes de Ballet, as well as Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Nutcracker. She is a student at the School of American Ballet.
