Harvey Glazer

Harvey Glazer comes to directing from a successful career as a visual effects artist and has made a distinct impact in the music video industry. In the year 2000, with over 100 effects credits to his name (including work for Shaggy, M2M, Play, No Angel's, Soul Decision, Kardinal Offishal, Love Inc., Dream Warriors, Tea Party, Edwin and Snow), Harvey decided to bring his own unique brand of imagery to the director's chair.

Due in part to previous experience owning and operating Or:G, at one time Canada's largest skateboard/snowboard company (founded while still in his teens), Glazer has been able to bring an excellent grasp of youth-oriented marketing to his work. Together with his try anything sense of irreverence, he has successfully completed projects for artists and record labels on a worldwide scale.

His video for Shaggy's Luv Me, Luv Me played in heavy rotation worldwide and led to directing commercial spots for Blink 182. Now with ninety videos under his belt, Glazer has become a music video director of choice in the U.S, U.K and Canada. His highly popular videos are constantly in rotation on MTV, MTV2, MUCHMUSIC, MUCHMOREMUSIC, KERRANG, VH1, BET and THE BOX worldwide.

Past recognition includes nominations for eleven MuchMusic Video Awards including videos for Kalan Porter's Single, Choclair's Tell Em, Hawksley Workman's We Will Still Need A Song, Big Black Lincoln's Pimpin Life, Choclair's Skyline, Solitair's It's So Easy, Baby Blue Soundcrew ft. Jully Black and Baby Cham's Day Before, Love Inc.'s Here Comes The Sunshine (VFX) and Dream Warriors' Breathe or Die (VFX).

In 2006, Grazer's video for Jully Black Sweat Of Your Brow was nominated for an Urban Music Award in the Best Video category. Grazer has also received the award for Best Direction - Animated Music Video at the Canadian International Animation festival for The P.O.W'S track Live the Life You Love.

Grazer attributes the key to his success as being his ability to crossover between the rock, urban and pop worlds at the drop of a dime, making him a marketable director on all fronts. One of the owners of TWOTHREEFIVEFILMS, the largest music video production company in Canada, Glazer also serves as the company's Executive Producer, responsible for not only production but also finding and nourishing the careers of the next generation of talented music video directors.

Most recently, TWOTHREEFIVEFILMS has moved into the world of film production and currently the company has four horror films in production in association with Peace Arch Entertainment. Glazer serves as producer on all four films, and is now in pre-production on his second feature film Cherrypoppers, which is an original screenplay he wrote with his writing partner Christopher Warre Smets. TWOTHREEFIVEFILMS is the production company behind the much-anticipated project.
