At 16 years old, talented Benson is now one of today's young hot triple threats. Born and raised in California, she developed her love for theater, and began training in dancing, singing, modeling and acting at 3 years old.
This beauty has graced the big and small screen numerous times with roles in 13 Going on 30, 7th Heaven, Strong Medicine, The West Wing, and Scrubs.
Being a good role model is important to Benson, and she has recently gotten involved with Kids With A Cause, a non-profit organization that provides support and encouragement to less fortunate youth. This dynamo has embraced her duties head on and has gone to speak to underprivileged children, promoting education, strong life goals and following your dreams, while spreading joy to those less fortunate children.
I love helping people, says Benson. "After helping someone, I get this feeling, like, Wow! I changed their life. If one kid was about to quit school and they stayed in school, that's a big thing. I love being a part of that!"
Between charity, school, and her full time duties at work, Benson still continues to study acting, tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop, as well as participating in some modeling campaigns. Ashley lives in Los Angeles, California, with her parents and older sister, Shaylene, and her pet Shih Tzu, Chloe.
