David Bowers
David Bowers directed the acclaimed animated features
Flushed Away and
Astro Boy. Bowers began his career in England working on
Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the hit TV show
Danger Mouse. He joined
Steven Spielberg's Amblimation Studio and worked as an animator on three features, including
An American Tail: Fievel Goes West and
Balto, before moving to Los Angeles, where he worked at the newly-established DreamWorks Animation. Bowers was a story artist on
The Prince of Egypt and the storyboard supervisor on Aardman Animation's first feature,
Chicken Run. Other credits include the Academy Award- winning
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit, and
Shark Tale.
