First up is Adventureland, which premiered at the 2009 Sundance film festival and in which she stars opposite Ryan Reynolds, Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. Greg Mottola wrote and directed this coming of age story.
In winter of 2009, Levieva made her Broadway debut in Impressionism, a new American play by Michael Jacobs. Margarita starred opposite Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons in the story of a world-traveling photojournalist and a New York gallery owner who help repair each others' broken lives.
She recently starred in the independent film Noise opposite Tim Robbins, William Hurt and Bridget Moynahan, and in The Invisible opposite Justin Chatwin and Marcia Gay Harden. On television, Margarita starred in Fox's Vanished.
A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Levieva began the rigorous training program of a competitive gymnast at the age of three. As a member of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics Olympic team, Levieva continued to train for the next 13 years, winning competitions in Russia and eventually going on to compete in the United States.
When she was 11, her mother moved her and her twin brother to New York, where she later studied economics at NYU. Her true passion, however, had always been acting and she ultimately was accepted into the Meisner Training Program at the prestigious William Esper Studio.
